When I first met Hannah and Danny in Beverley, I knew straight away that I’d love to photograph their wedding at Tickton Grange. Their personalities were filled with love for each other and excitement for their big day and I knew I just had to be a part of it! It was my first booking for Tickton, and I was excited to photograph such a beautiful venue.
To celebrate their engagement, however, we headed over to Oaklands Wedding Venue not far from Beverley. You can check out their session on my blog HERE.
The Wedding Morning Preparations
Hannah started her day getting ready at her parent’s house in Beverley, overlooking the Westwood. It was the perfect place for peaceful wedding morning preparations. The house was alive with chatter as her parents, sister, little boy and bridesmaids were all busy getting ready. Hannah and Danny got married just a short stone’s throw away in the centre of Beverley, at St Mary’s Church.
The service was beautiful, and we were blessed with fantastic weather on the day. The great weather continued into the reception at Tickton Grange. Tickton Grange is now one of my featured wedding venues as after only shooting one wedding there it quickly became one of my favourites in East Yorkshire. One of the fantastic aspects of Tickton Grange is the outdoor space and grounds for the wedding party to enjoy the day. On the flip side, the renovated interior is also lush! Hannah and Danny went with Silver and Yellow for their colours. You can see how they dressed the reception room and tables further down.
The evening reception kicked off with The ContraBand playing a set containing some of the couples favourite music. There’s nothing like a live band to get the party started at a wedding reception! As you’ll see later in the post, everyone had a great time dancing the night away.
Hannah wore a stunning wedding dress from Jacqueline’s of Beverley and had professional makeup for herself, her mother and bridesmaids courtesy of Pippa Hutchinson-Chan Makeup Artist who was fantastic. Additionally, another great vendor I can’t recommend enough is The Beverley Flower Company who provided the flowers such as the bridal bouquet, buttonholes and venue decoration. The stunning floral arrangements picked out the perfect shades of silver and yellow beautifully complimenting Hannah & Danny’s theme.
