The Bell Hotel Driffield Wedding Photography
I had such an amazing time at the Marrison’s wedding in Driffield. I started at the brides mum’s house, where everyone was busy getting ready. I was lucky enough to be there when her father saw her in her dress for the first time. Capturing a moment like that is truly special and I’m thankful that I was there to see it. The dress that Helen chose had some beautiful lace detail on the back including a line of delicate buttons.
After all the bridal preparations it was time for me to dash off to the venue. The Bell hotel in Driffield, to capture some shots of the beautiful ceremony and reception rooms.
The ceremony was beautiful, the room was filled with romantic touches like petals on the floor and twinkly lights on all the surfaces. It was very emotional and I don’t think there was a single person in that room who didn’t shed a tear.
I’ve seen a lot of first dances in my time as a wedding photographer, but I haven’t seen anything like Ian & Helen’s. MADNESS, literally madness, it started off as a traditional romantic slow dance however it quickly descended into House of Fun. Ian was wielding an inflatable sax and at one point lifted off the floor completely in excitement. It really was great fun and everyone quickly joined in.
All in all the day was romantic, beautiful and a whole bundle of fun, just like the couple themselves. It’s at weddings like these that I’m thankful to be a Driffield wedding photographer.
