One Of My Favourite Landscape Photography Trips (Whitby & Robin Hood’s Bay)
For my 25th birthday me and my partner Ellie decided to visit Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. We stayed in a quaint little cottage in Fylingthorpe. A truly picturesque location – complete with a great pub (Fylindales Inn) serving some delicious meals. The best bit was that we were only a 5 minute walk from Robin Hood’s Bay. This meant that every morning I rose before the sun and made the short trip to the coast to watch (and photograph) the sunrise (leaving Ellie in bed of course). Here’s one of my efforts at the beginning of the trip:
Robin Hood’s Bay Landscape Photography
Later in the day we ventured into Robin Hood’s Bay it was quite a dreary day, which made for some great moody black and white photos.
One of my favourite days out on this trip was venturing into Whitby. We walked all around the harbour and explored some great quirky shops. Here are some of my favourite moments.
And lastly here is my favourite photograph from this trip…
I walked past these guys in the pitch black before sunrise and I completely missed them. On my way back to the cottage however they nearly followed me the whole way!
