A Winter Wedding at Lazaat Wedding Venue in Cottingham Hull
I first met Shannon & Dan nearly 2 years ago at a wedding fair in Driffield, and my god has time flown by since then! They chose the lovely Lazaat Hotel in Cottingham as their wedding venue, with a striking Hull City Tigers theme for their special day. In the run-up to the big day, we all went to the Beverley Westwood for a pre-wedding engagement session. These sessions are crucial to getting natural and relaxed wedding photos! It’s a great opportunity to get to know your photographer and see how they work. But ultimately become more comfortable in front of the camera.
The Wedding Day at Lazaat Hotel
I spent my morning in Eastrington with Shannon’s crazy, funny and amazing family. I don’t think I’ve ever met such a loving and family orientated bunch of people. It was truly lovely to be around them in the lead up to the ceremony. Speaking of which Shan & Dan tied the knot at the small church in Eastrington, the same one that Shannon’s mum and dad are heavily involved with. It was lovely to hear Shannon’s reasoning for picking St Michael’s Church. Her Family has such a strong connection meant that there really only was one choice for their marriage ceremony.
Shannon and Dan arrived in style at Lazaats, a family friend completely changed and restyled an ageing vintage car to fit with the Hull City theme. And my was it themed! Adorned with amazing photos of the happy couple, Shannon & Dan really rocked up to Lazaats.
The Amazing Wedding Suppliers
Shannon wore a gorgeous dress from Elite Bridal Hull, with flowers by All Occasions in Howden. Shannon was lucky enough to have a close family friend do all of her hair styling and makeup which just added to the fun of the morning preparations. The venue was styled by A Perfect Wedding Hull with centrepieces and candy wheel by another close family friend.
That’s it from me, if you’ve made it to the bottom of this post then I applaud you, I wouldn’t have blamed you for scrolling straight to the photos! Speaking of which…
